We are happy to announce our new bottles of our fresh made Greek salad dressing and our Greek seasoning available at the Greek Kitchen

We want to thank the St. Louis Blues marketing team for recognizing the Greek Kitchen in their small business spotlight.  We were treated to great seats and the VIP treatment.  Not to mention a thousand dollar check for our business.  Thank you Maggie for your hospitality.

"Being Greek, I'm very picky on eating Greek food at a restaurant.  The Greek Kitchen was incredible.  Their food is very authentic and tastes incredible!  I will be back every time I go through St. Louis.  Excellent job Lisa and Joe."  Athan P

In case you missed it, the Greek Kitchen was ranked in the Best Street foods in St. Louis in St. Louis Magazine for our gyro. Here is the link.

Lisa Nicholas and Joe Kandel closed their Ellisville restaurant last summer and relocated The Greek Kitchen to Kirkwood a month later. They serve warm pitas overstuffed with tzatziki-slathered lamb and beef. Pair it with a chilled retsina, and consider a return visit to try the rest of the menu, notably the dolmades. 343 S. We again wanted to thank St. Louis sportscaster Frank Cusumano for airing the Greek Kitchen as a segment of Franks Food Picks today during the 4pm newscast. They really enjoyed our food and we enjoyed having him in. Here is the link of the video and article. We hope you enjoy.

This is from St. Louis Magazine November 15th 2018 citing the best soups and sandwiches in St. Louis

Avgolemono at The Greek Kitchen

A soup you don’t have to be able to pronounce to appreciate, the Greek classic avgolemonois made with chicken stock, egg yolks, and lemon. In February, it won the judge’s Gold Ladle award at Soup’s On, besting 17 other selections. 343 S. Kirkwood.

"This was the best Greek food I have ever had. The owners are so awesome and welcoming. The staff was equally as awesome and took the time to explain each dish!

They take so much pride in their food and it definitely shows!!" Jessica P.

"Fantastic Greek food and service that makes you feel like family. Best we've had in the area. Great for takeout. Try the Greek sampler, the chicken kabob entree, gyro, and most importantly...the baklava." Stephen C.
"Awesome! This a new Greek cafe and it is great. The prices are excellent and the food too. I am glad to have a good Greek restaurant closed to home."  Karena V.
"The food is amazing and the portions are huge!! Best Greek food in the area."  Greg H.
"Small place but the food was excellent. Everything from the Greek salad all the way through dessert. Desserts are very good sized portions also."  Gary E.
"This place has new owners and now offers authentic Greek food.  Being Greek I can appreciate the real deal and this is it!!  Everything was great from the gyro to the dolmades and even good wings.  Don't forget the homemade baklava.  The ellisville area needed an authentic Greek restaurant and now it's here.  Much better than the other place, same name so don't be fooled as its totally different.  Prices are fair for the best Greek food around.  We will go back again, soon!"  Stef C.
"I came here with my dad for dinner last night while visiting from Denver and I was so impressed at the tastiness of the food and the great service! It is located in the storefront of a typical suburban shopping center and has a very casual atmosphere. There are probably 5-6 tables and some booths. The walls are painted blue and there are some large pictures of Greece. Very simple, but cute!

The owners greeted us upon arrival and immediately we felt at home. We ordered a Hummus and Falafel Platter to start, which was so delicious! Just as good, if not better, than the best Greek restaurant I've tried in Denver. The server told us that everything is made in-house with the exception of the pita. For our main course, I ordered the Chicken Kebab Plate and my dad ordered the Gyro with a Greek Salad. The Greek Salad was AMAZING and the dressing was super tasty. Both of our entrees were large, warm and so satisfying.

We passed up dessert because we were so full, but overall I was so happy with our dinner! Love the family atmosphere, the delicious food and the simpleness of everything. I would highly recommend that everyone in West County (or St Louis in general) check out this locally-owned restaurant because you're sure to get a great, reasonably priced meal."  Sarah W.
"I've lost count how many times I've eaten here, but I've yet to have anything but a winner. Service is great and food is outstanding. Very clean and very reasonably priced!"  Mary T.
"Absolutely the best gyro I have ever eaten. I arrive right before closing and the food was very fresh! Come get some Greek food here!"  JonH.
"This place is a true gem. I went by there for the first time earlier today and I got a regular gyro, a side of falafel, and some baklava. All three were delicious (particularly the baklava). I also chatted with the owners and they couldn't have been more friendly. I will definitely be going there again!"  Kyle C.
"Great food - service is fantastic!"  Brent F.
"Best falafel in the area."  Dustin S.
"Love this place. Great authentic Greek food. Owners are wonderful and attentive. Great little find.  Yummy. Haven't found an item on the menu we haven't liked. Best hummus out there."  Leanne A.
"The gyros, fries, tzatziki (best I've had-thick and doesn't skimp on the lemon juice), and mousakaa are perfect. The owner (nicest lady) makes everything from scratch and you can tell. Makes her own hummus too that you can buy to take home. I got the basil pesto hummus and it's full of flavor."  Miranda H.
"There were four of us at Greek Kitchen for dinner tonight. The Baba Ganoush and Hummus were delicious, as were the Dolmades. Stuffed grape leaves have never been on my must-have list, but I would go back for more of these! We had some Chicken Kebabs and Spanakopita, with generous helpings of sides...salads, onion rings, fries, etc. I had a yummy slice of Baklava...rich, sweet and made in house, as is everything else on the menu. I will be back again!"  Indra G.
"Wow what a find!  Stuck in the west end of the plaza, I had my doubts, but this place rocks!  Used to be the Cafe Kabab, but since Nov 2 it's under the new name. Four of us met for lunch and enjoyed the lunch special of Pastitsio with a side of eggplant stew (even great for non eggplant lovers) and a Greek salad. Shared hummus, baba ganoush, dolmathes (best I've had) and a chicken soulviaki. All wonderful - fresh and flavorful. The owner brought out free baklava for both of our bday girls. Maranatha was very friendly and knowledgeable, explaining the dishes and giving suggestions.  Go here!
Ck it out at theGreekkitchen.net." Katrina P.
"The Greek Kitchen is a must try !! The Greek salad was delicious and the gyro was the best I've had in along time. Save room for dessert the baklava is honey drizzled heaven on a plate !!"  Paula C.
